I wish to model the inside of diesel locomotives for my HO gauge engine terminal. For example, an engine with open hood- displaying the engine- and associated equipment etc. I would use plastic diesel shells [if I could find them] and so on. I cannot seem to find any such items on the net. Seabees32

The Walthers plastic prime mover is a 16-567B, with the rectangular access ports. I think they went to the round access ports in 1954 or so, with the 567C block, GP9. Just something to keep in mind, if having obsolete prime movers on display bothers you.

Many thanks- have ordered two of same. Now I look for 'plastic' HO non-motored diesel shells (ala old AHM) to cut up! Bob
