On the Athearn RTR SD40-2s, has anyone mounted a cannon nose to replace the stock nose? I'm not changing out the Sub bases and am curious since the stock nose fits inside the Sub bases. I've been waiting on Athearn to call me back on getting a new 88" nose with brake wheel but the wait continues and getting eager to start getting this unit close r to completion. I'd love to keep it stock if anyone has a spare nose?! Thanks guys!
