Hi guys! Here is a SP boxcar I finished a while ago. As you will see, there is a little bit of fantasy on this one. The tackboards on the doors were exactly opposite on the proto compared to the model. Since I didn't scrape those off and re-mount that is a fantasy area. Also, there weren"t safety stripes on one side but my O.C.D. made me put them there to match the other side...more fantasy. haha Of course the major fantasy issue is that this was the totally wrong type of model for the proto box I was replicating. I had found the two proto pics a while back and just really liked them. Since my boxcar was similar I just went for it. Mainly it appeared that the boxcar ends were different and the type of doors were different. The overall body sides and printing looked pretty close. I will also call myself out on the "patchover paint". It is pinker in the proto pics than my model pics. It is closer in shade in person but even then definitely not spot-on.
