On the bench in the last weeks were two UP diesels so i decided to add a third one for me that uses "Armour Yellow". Got all three finished today. First is an SD24B, numbered as UP #415B. Its an Atlas model that got a "B"-cab from Hi-Tech Details. This was my third SD24B rebuild. Second of the UP units is a GP39-2. These units came second hand to the UP, mostly from MKT and D&H. The model is from Overland. Last but not least, armour yellow, too, but no UP unit. Since i´m a Milwaukee Road fan and already have all other Erie Built versions, it was time for a yellow unit. Beside paint, i added grab irons, new horns and bug deflectors:

Beautiful! Just one question, did the B-units really have those green patches on the ends of the roof? I've always thought those are sort of anti glare shields.

Looking good, I like the Milwaukee (though I think they look waaaaay better in orange/maroon/black paint)

Mike, me too, but i always wanted also an yellow era train, so the Erie would be a nice power for it...
