What kind of "varnish" are you gonna put behind it? Phase 1, as well as various "Rainbow" cars based in the 71-74 timesframe. I also have some Penn Central pass. cars that probably comes as no suprise. P

Im also working on a" Rainbow" era amtrak train. I have so far a walthers NP cafe , a ex santa fe amtrak phase 1 bagage car a amtrak phase 1 diner and the great northern empire builder ops (or a kato NYC ops car) and the rapido steam car has not arived yet. I am debating on a intermoutain FP7 and or a highliners F7 ABA on the athearn drives. the lead loco would be in the phase 1 but the b unit would be a GN the other A would be a BN . I will fill in cars as I go on

Why not just use a long shank coupler for the front rather than rebuilding the pocket? Kadee #156 is a long shank scale coupler.

what a sad day for the SCL there. But the work that you have done on that E is very well done. Nice weathering as well
