I dug this out if its box (where it's been languishing for the last 7 years), figured it was about time to finish it. Here's a quick rundown on what I'd done with it earlier. I started with a RailPower Products C32-8 shell and replaced the 6 engine compartment doors with an 8 door section from a Atlas C30-7. I then shortened the Equipment Blower section as-per Kevin Mangels Burlington Northern B32-8 article in the September 1990 Model Railroader. I am using a RPP Dash8-40B Chassis with a A-Line Repower Kit. Heres a shot of the chassis that I still need to do some work on. Dan

Nice to see those old projects coming back out to live again. I did the same with my GP-50 Project.

That will make for a nice project. I have projects also under layers of dust. So many that I just bounce around from project to project, not really getting much done. P

Hey there Dan,
I've been looking through this GE section tonight and came across this post. So, did you finish this and did you cut the mid section of the body out the same way the article says to do the B32-8? Nice looking job, warbonnets look so good when they're done nicely.

Dan, No, shes still not finished. Other things keep geting in the way, like always starting new projects and not quite finishing the old ones first.

oh, I think I've joined that club! The GP39e that I worked on feverishly a 2 years ago isn't done either. I have thought about bringing it back up to the bench though!
