I thought, as I plow thru George "RailRoad" Martin's Game of Thrones series, that the King's Road looks like a railroad linking kingdoms and ports on his map. I came up with a 'railroady' Winterfell White Harbor and The Twins Railroad so I made up some decals and dolled up a Accurail covered hopper. So I also wanted to pay homage to my other favourite literary series by decalling the other side of this car as the Anduin Edoras and Rohan Railway as a nod to The Lord of the Rings...by J "RailRoad" Tolkien Of course I had to 'lease it up' to get a plausible link and not have 2 different car numbers, so it's my fictitious lease company.

Yeah, it was the first thing that popped in my head, but in retrospect, I should have used READ as the reporting mark...

READX would have been fun too, but your initials for reporting marks looks more realistic.
Nice job on the car.

This is really cool.
I am a HUGE fan of JRR...
I have a bit of a problem with Martins work.
I know I should see the "Song of Ice and Fire" for its literary qualities, but I guess I prefer my fantasy to be more heroic and less "base", if that makes any sense.
Still, the car is very neat.
Kudos.

Makes total sense. They both scratch different itches for sure, but I like Game of Thrones for its plot twists...don't start liking a character, they'll be killed in a chapter ot two. Just like life...nice guys die young, and pricks live forever!
