While the scorched paint caught my eye, the fades, spills and all over grime really tie everything together. Great work.

ha ha ha yarG...you can't escape me! lol Just wanted to drop some love on those micro mega machines here as well. As you know, I dig the ever livin crap outta your work and it's great to see it somewhere else. I know that weathering isn't everyone's bag but for those who do like it, what you do is a platinum standard for everyone to strive for...and the proof is in photograpic evidence above. We all start somewhere in the pursuit of weathering bliss and I've learned a lot from you (and a few select others) and I thank you for the lessons. I really appreciate seeing everyone's work no matter the level because I can learn from it all in some way and I get enjoyment seeing it all. However, some people have a gift and you are one of those people. Thank you for sharing it with us. Oh, and just in case you didn't realize it from my posts on TRB, your BNSF dynamic duo rips my face off!

NICKABOD: So rarely do I frequent this forum, that I can't help but feel like an intruder of some "good 'ol boy" club! This is a really cool forum and I should make a point to come here and read more frequently. Seems I have so many other irons in the fire when it comes to all of this model business. I only post here when I have done a locomotive project, which in itself is as rare as hen's teeth. Nonetheless TRB comrade Nickabod, I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to bang out a reply to my works, here, there, TRB, MRH,..wherever it winds up getting posted. Your positive comments and attitude in this hobby of ours (not to mention your INCREDIBLE) build skills...make this a much more colorful realm!
Thanks Nickabod!!

Hi Randy!...Hey! that is great to hear!...There have been some OUTSTANDING locomotives that I've seen on the monthly header here, therefore I truly consider that quite an honor and I Thank you considerably!
This is sincerely a QUALITY forum! I am still on a steady inclined plane with learning about nomenclature and detail in so many differing units of motive power and Diesel Detailer has been incredibly helpful in escorting with some of the most helpful knowledge to be had. Thank you Randy and staff here for allowing me to be a part of the Diesel Detailer experience.

Gary, thanks.
The pics I choose for the logo of the month must have sufficient room at the top and bottom for print. That is what determines my choice.
