I finally decided to start my O scale CR GP10. Here is what I have so far... I chopped the nose, shortened the firemans side battery box, lengthened the Engineers side boxes. Cast a new front center cab window. Cast a new headlight/numberboard housing. Shaved off various louvers to match proto pics. Cut the Side sill to match pics. Now I need to find really good pics/drawings of the Paducah style air filter between the non Dym. hatch and cab. Then I just need to add the normal details and I should have a Geep to push some cars around. Well keep ya guys posted.

Yes, I admit I did have a show last nite but I am back at it tonite to try and scratchbuild the Air Filters on each side of the long hood. I did get the exhaust on the hatch per Stans request. I am having a hell of a time finding pictures of Conrail 7566 so I am gonna use alot of modelers license and Conrail practice to help when there are no pics of what I am after. Thanks guys

Here are a couple of shots I took of her during her NEGS days.. If you want to see large versions go to N-scaler.com, galleries, coosvalley, NEGS stuff. They are big, easy to see the details!

time to hang up the modeling for this weekend and get ready to head to Toledo for the week to work. Hopefully the weather is nicer for me so I can get a chance to railfoam around the N.toledo/Detroit area. Maybe even see if I can find the CR shared assets. Here is what I have done so far. Still a long way to go: Fab up a dynacell air filter, add the handrails and fab up a eng. side front hand rail since I extended the boxes forward. Drop steps and working cut levers I think will round out the 7566. There is one grab iron that for somereason is crooked so that needs to be fixed. I have pics of the loco both in the paint ICG gave it when new and the paint iot recieved sometime in the early 90's. I am doing it as release from the ICG shop
