You're way more patient than I am! I've got two on the bench right now, and to avoid all of this (faded paint, ditch lights, etc...) they're in their late 70s-early 80s appearance. Excellent work!

Excellent work by everyone! I just cosmetically finished my two bandits, SOO 2010 and 2041. I'll be installing Tsunami and lighting effects as soon as the materials are delivered. I'm pleased with how the pair turned out-as modeled it's the mid to late-80s before the paint really became ragged-but right off the top of my head I know of two things I would change if I ever got bored. For right now, they're a "credible representation"... I used the stock parts that Atlas provided (fuel tank, fans, etc) since I'm not much of a rivet counter. They capture the look for me! SOO 4512 is just an incredible model all around, and I look forward to the final product.
