I'm looking for images of a specific feature on a Green Bay & Western (or later user like KBS, etc) RS20. On top of the short hood is what appears to be a short walkway. The only images I've come across for this loco are from the ground and only catch the edge of it. I'm looking for an elevated image that I can see this item better to get dimensions, etc. I have had for many years a Tiger Valley chop nose to create this locomotive, and I'm getting motivated to start it and am starting the research . Thanks for any and all help

Hi Lyle This may help, though it is from the cab of GBW 321, one of the rebuilt C-424m's. I suspect the little platform is the same as on the RS-20. This is propably the the clearest photo I have of the platform on the front of my N-scale 321. Hope this helps. Cheers Steve NZ

"I will also go thru my Michigan Northern photos as well. They PPurchased one of the Ex GBW RS20's." I believe that you meant Minnesota Commercial... the Michigan Northern was already gone by the time the GBW Alcos were sold off. They did have a chopped nosed ALCO as well but they were not upgraded with the 12-251 engines. There is one shot on the website that Eric links too that shows the nose of one of the RS3us... not much of a walkway but its there... alcoworld.railfan.net/mnnr307.jpgAnd here's another shot showing the walkway... rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=2859880

Would the DELAWARE and HUDSON RR ALCO RS3M's which were numbered 501-508 count ?
