Interesting. The first several cars all had C&O markings but the rest of the train was all NS heritage cars. Being a modeler of the coal fields you hear "but unit coal trains are so monotonous" a lot. Check out those going away shots. The hoppers are all different heights, mix of 3- and 4-bay cars. Not to mention I counted at least 6 different N&W hopper classes and 3 Southern.

Nice layout, Randy.....you really got the touch, altho the weathering is a bit much for my taste. ;D
