What are the major difference between these variants and how hard is it to model them in HO?
I have seen photos of M630's and M636's with two different protrusions forward of the radiator compartment, what are these?
Would a Bowser C630M be the best starting point for the other two models, how much work would be involved to get it to look plausible?

M630/636s have taller frames The Ms have the dynamic brake grilles between the intercooler intakes, the Cs have them ahead of the intakes. water/expansion tank ahead of the rads is the large roof bulge on early C636s, M630s and M636s There are a myriad of other nuances, and no the C630M would not be a good starting point. Mixing a Bowser C636 and C630M would get you closer to an M630 but not 100% there. I'll try to put together a montage... This is just the changes in rad section alone, and of CP units. CN and BCR differed slightly

The photos speak for themselves... The same equipment reside in both models, its just in different locations. MLW raised all the intake gear up higher, moved the dyn brake grids between the grilles on the roof. The C630 has all the dyn brake gear ahead of the gen area. Notice the frame heights...

Hi I have some good roof top photos to illustrate the differences. A couple of them are on this video: There are photos of C-630M, M-630, M-636 and C-636 in the video. If you PM me I'll e-mail more detailed photos to you. Cheers Steve NZ
