Hello friends, I will share with you so we can discuss the process and to have tips or concerns in order to improve among all our models The compressor is an automatic Sparmax. The Airbrush Sparmax DH150 model These are the cars Walthers (blacks) and Athearn Genesis (whites) First with orange base give an oxide applied by brush Then after matte varnish mixed with white black color was killing Now if with white matte started burning the roof The result !!!! some more than others for doing all the same With a light brown burned edges do to achieve the first layer The result again !! Now with several shades darker brown, painted by the center to achieve accentuate burns ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!! I apply matte black in the center to make more parts burned drippings then make oxides All the roof burnn !!!!!!! Here with oxides Here a picture with oxides simulating oils in 2-Tone, upload photos in a few days outdoors to see results Greetings friends! hope you like it!

Very nice work.
You threw me with the brown paint on the white, but once you added the darker shades it all made sense.
Nicely done.

Agree that you should now start showing models and not real rolling stock. How did you get the paint peeling effect?

covered wagon Thanks for the comments !!
m a y r 79 I like it like wagons. It takes some time to look at the steps of how to get to accomplish things.
enginseer Thanks for the comment, I also had my doubts at first of how it would be, but layer by layer is taking final shape, you can improve a lot more but at this point I ran out of tanks! here are very expensive
mdtraindrvr The effect of acrylic paint to prepare it, and before it dries completely, lift with a thin clamp parts so it looks like the paint burned, luckily went more or less as expected, would have to try another technique
Thanks to everyone, these days I'm working on some more
