Interesting project Scott. What did you use for the window blinds? Now that is a cool car. Please do tell what you used, they look cool.

Thanks guys, I used venetian blind decals that I found in the Walthers catalog, if I can find the leftovers I will see if I still have the part number...... Here is a Proto picture of this car

Is this scratch built, or some kind of kit? Looks good either way. Also, was the prototype self propelled? it seems to have an engine in the rear.

Thanks 1QN,
It was kitbashed/scratchbuilt from an old 40' boxcar and lots of styrene.
The car was not self propelled, there was an engine/generator in the rear to power the lights & radio but 1045 was tacked on to the rear behind the caboose for inspection of track conditions system wide.
