My spare room is 9x11 and here is my first idea of how to do my layout. Small, but that's all the room I have. I need to include continuous running. The computer desk is on the left side of the room and is 60 inches high. If I build it 62 inches high I can build shelves underneath to store my 1/18 diecast cars in boxes and some of my railroad items also. Any suggestions gladly considered.

That's just a rough idea of what it will look like. I plan on making some scenes look like the area I'm modeling.

You would be surprised how much can fit into a 9'x11' space. Trust me, if anything that is a huge space to work with... I recently planned a respectable layout using a single sheet of 4'x8' plywood (with a couple added scraps to accommodate buildings). Here is an example, 10'x8' Believe it or not, this is going up in my apartment. Completely portable, has hidden staging and a broad 30" radius. I did have to remove the door to the room, but who will know besides me? Your plan does look great though! 62" is a great height for the layout... Should look great from that angle.

Your english is okay to me Miguel, my Great Grandfather came from Quebec, his name was Jacques Be'sson. My Grandfather had a heavy French accent also, and could speak French. I cannot speak French.

I can't do the bridge at the door because the bathroom is next to it and with diabetes, I need to go to that other room often. I figured the best alternative would be a folded dog bone.

The book he just did on the layout is awesome! I highly reccomend it! Plus, I read that he is doing a book on weathering, his techniques seem very quick and to the point! I think it is coming out in March.
