Here is a GR SD70M Athearn model that I am building for a friend of mine. Not alot of details but enough to make it look pretty good. The windows are not painted just masked off as I couldnt get them out of the cab. I have started the decaling yesterday and I have to have it done before the NMRA show in Atlanta in a week. Just wanted to share this with ya'll. Some of you have seen my GR SD40-2 (which is still not finished, needs handrails(brass) and minor stuff) and I think it came out pretty nice as this is also.

That's a sharp pair! Although I have to question the paint shop for applying the numbers over the grills below the cab windows, it's gotta be a PITA.

Sharp scheme. Is the rear color a dark gray ( like SP dark lark gray) or a deep green?

The numbers on the vents didnt go as bad as I thought. Set them in place, let them dry a bit and then solvaset on top for a couple minutes then gently pushed them into place. Quite easy actually after I was done.
The "gray" is actually Floquil Weathered Black, but now that there will be nomore Floquil I am going to look into the Tru-Color Weathered Black and see if that might be close..
