Awesome to see you here Gary! Although I've stated a bit of verbage on this beast elsewhere...I have to say, as I scroll through the flicks again it really is interesting to look at all the different worlds you created for this (and other) models to live in. Great flavor!

Wow, that's nicely done. The detailing, the weathering and the diorama all fit together and make a realistic series of pictures. excellent job.

Damn! When I looked at the first photo I thought it was a prototype photo to compare your model against! I didn't realize that was actually the model.
Outstanding work!

Once again as I have said before, this thing is just plain AWESOME! The details combined with an great weathering job make a very prototypical looking engine. Great job and I think you and Kevin are part of the " lets make a real engine in 1/87th scale " group!!!

ANDERS, NICK, STEVE, MIKE and ANTHONY: Thank You all here at Diesel Detailer for the generous feedback. It is few and far between that I detail or weather locomotives, so I am somewhat of a rare sighting on this forum.

Wow, at first sight thought I was looking at a proto photo. Nice work.

ANTHONY: I must concur about Kevin Packard and his OUTRAGEOUSLY realistic locomotives. That guy has really made some incredible leaps and bounds as of late in this hobby. His last presentation of his BNSF 555 Dash 8 blew me backwards out of my computer chair.
ROBERT: LOL!...The "sainted bovine excrement" preface to your entire comment had me near spaying soda pop all over my computer screen monitor as I started laughing while taking a sip...thank you for the chuckles and the compliment on one of my models.
MARK: When someone states that they thought they were viewing a prototype photo while viewing a model I've done, has paid the ultimate compliment. Thank you generously.
Thank you to all who have commented and dispensed a nice word or two on this post, it is sincerely appreciated. I find this to be a really cool forum, the more I get familiar with the layout and navigate the separate boards....I find some great information as well as some really EXCELLING talent.

Gary, you're too kind. I wouldn't say my locos are that great. Your work on this tunnel motor tops anything I've ever done, that's for sure. I still can't get over that first shot...excellent composure all the way around! It showcases all right parts of your work...the roof fading, fuel tank, and perfect lighting on the trucks. It doesn't get any better than that!
I agree that this board has a TON to offer. I don't get over here often enough, in fact I don't think I posted that dash 8 yet. When I'm done staring at your work Gary I'll get around to it.

SD80MACBEAST: As of recent, I have learned quite a bit of photographic "slight of hand" from a TWS member named Jeff Meyer and from the guy who commented right below you and right above me here on this thread...Kevin Packard. These two guys with their courtesy to share information on F-stop and shutter speed settings...set a whole new angle on model photographing for me that really exploits realistic images. I completely appreciate the nice comment.
KEVIN: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR COMRADE?...drop that BNSF Dash 8 on this forum and let these guys here fix their jaws back into place such as I had to at TRB. Allow my reciprocation Kevin,...your words are far too kind about this Kodachrome...I sincerely appreciate it dude!
