Where better to start than with my first ever project a very downtrodden SD40-2 in a badly painted CP livery at first i suspected a santa fe livery lurked beneath the paint , but after a strip in mr muscle paint stripper a quite nice UP livery was discovered a little weathering after using artists acrylics ( atellier interactives ) that give extended working time ( over 24 hrs if reactivator is used after they have dried ) and tamiya powders also partialy decaled handrails painted and replaced and underframes repainted grey ( that silver needed sunglasses )

a few more decals sourced and some detail parts to add , been somewhat delayed on projects as I work and also am a freelance artist so have been painting a 4 feet x 3 feet portrait of 3 people I work with to be used in the entrance hall where I work
