If Model Railroader magazine still had model of the month award you would definitely get it.

Incredibly good job Brian. The weathering really gives it that used look. I really like the rust under the battery boxes and the wear on the tread plate. Freakin awesome T-motor!

Brian, well done. It looks like you really have a handle on that AK weathering stuff. The dusty look you've achieved really makes it feel like this thing has spent some serious time in the desert. Great work!

Thanks all.
When I started weathering, I was not happy with the results. But that is how it always starts though for me. By the time I am done, it all comes together and I am pleased with it.
So this model took me basically three months from start to finish.

That's awesome Brian. It's not N-scale, and it's not an Alco, but it's still awesome. Cheers Steve

Nice job as always. I envy the weathering. Mine always looks like a kid drew on it with a crayon.

Amazing! As always the proof of any model work is in the closeup shots, and yours is faultless. I love the paint / weathering. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
