Newest additions-both KATO SD40-2s bastardized by CMPS and added to the CLLX lease fleet. Both have TSUNAMI sound and dual speakers in each long hood. I'm disappointed they didn't have anything better than those crappy RS3L's...and the winterization hatch with a/c is kind of confusing...oh well.

Who says the a/c has to work, especially if the unit was bought second or third hand. I can picture the vents stuffed with rags, cardboard and duct tape to keep out that cold winter air drafts that are sure to leak through (I speak from experience!!)

Hahaha yeah...but then again, that sounds like a non-compliant unit to me...and those don't make any money!

Wow, those "loaners" look fantastic - so simple yet so effective. I can see room for something similar on the Pacific Western :-) Great work!

Very well finished Dave. There is lots of subtle details added, like the patch covers over the class lights and the painted mu/air lines. Your weathering looks good as well. Plus, as Kato units I know these run as smooth as an old Singer sewing machine!
