That is a really a nice job both on the detailing and on the paint job.I am very impressed with your work,it is very convincing and realstic looking.....Great job.

Are the exhaust stacks prototypical to the Reserve Mining unit? Thanks all for the comments! In one shot I had found of the 1224, It appeared to have these boxes around the exhaust stack with a top piece hinged that could be closed on top to keep snow and rain out when shut down. Later the 1224 had round type spark arresters added. The real 1224 still the old Reserve Mining brown with white ends now works for ELS in upper Michigan and as of 2008 was still running.
