These are listed as HO but I thought Fox Valley only did N scale? I just say $30 seems pricey, is that normal for FV products? Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards I think $30 a boxcar is the going rate now (atleast for MSRP). The CP (Soo) FV car I bought a little while back retailed for $31. Unfortunately the prices in this hobby keep going up and up.

Unfortunately the prices in this hobby keep going up and up. I tend to buy a lot of my stuff over the net and so don't usually buy new or pay MSRP so that's a bit of a shock; $30 a boxcar! I would be tempted to buy one each of these new because of what they are but I certainly wouldn't just buy any boxcar for that, I'd be happier to run Rooundhouse kits than pay those prices...

Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards Pretty much, their SOO boxcars sold at 31$ at the HobbytownUSA I go to. Athearn and Atlas Trainman are my preferred rolling stock choice. Especially if the Trainman line goes on sale (Hobby Town take 50% off of any merchandise that's been sitting on shelves so I've been able to get a Trainman 52' gondola for 8$)

$30.00 is getting to be a regular price range for HO boxcars these days.Fortunately I'm sticking to N scale where the prices are a little better. The Z scale stuff is really the wallet killer.
