I'm wanting to have a few cars from some of the proto freelance RR's here. I'd be willing to buy decals from you if you have them. Also does anyone know how to get into contact with Eric Brooman (spelling?) as I'd like a few Utah Belt cars too.
Thanks William

I have a Davies Steel Coil Car from the late Dean Freitag's (sp?) South Ridge Lines. I picked it up at a show for cheap. The guy had it on a white elephant table for $7.00. I whipped it up immediately. It was BRAND NEW!!!

I did artwork up a few years ago for some UB stuff, a GP40 and a covered hopper. I can send it over to Highball and he can run some sets for you... Jim also has alot of freelance per diem boxcars on his site, from Mike Confalone et al...

I have sent letters to Eric in th past, he doesn't sale his decal sets because he only has enough made for his stuff. He doesn't mind if you model any of his equipment at all though.
Yes Jim has some sets of proto, i know he has the Kansas Pacific, Georgia Road, Allagash, CIRAIL, and some others. The sets are like mini-cals and its like $7.00 for a set that does 2 cars.

Sean, I may piece together some UB decals for the reporting marks and numbers. I may still take you up on your offer.
Anthony, I plan to pick up a set of your Kansas Pacific decals from Highball when I make an order from him.

William that sounds awesome. If you have any questions let me know. There are three colors listed on Jim's website and only the orange one is wrong. But if any more questions let me know.

I whipped it up immediately. It was BRAND NEW!!! They were never great sellers, I've seen a few...they do have a collectable following for sure! I had one, because I was forced to buy it as a package deal with a Jim Hediger's Ohio Southern coil car. I sold the Freitag car soon after. The scheme looked cartooney IMHO and not very plausible, but the Ohio Southern car was a keeper!

I have a pair of Virginian & Ohio boxcars on my layout. I would like to have a few V&O and Allegheny Midland hoppers, they show up on Ebay from time to time but I am not sure I want to spent 30-40 dollars on an old Roundhouse kit. Same goes for any Gorre & Daphetid equipment. I am probably going to do a custom run of 70 ton hoppers through Accurail for my Gulf & Ohio Midland as I have several interested buyers/friends lined up... need big $$ upfront

I posted in my GDRMCo thread but I'll post here too, I've got 6 ore hoppers I'll be lettering for my GDRMCo Iron Ore operation and I'll be giving them away. Got 1 person interested so far, PM me if you may want one!

Hey guys, I heard Fox Valley is bringing there Modernized Allegheny Midland and V&O cars to HO Scale! I'd like to see more V&O, AM and UB stuff out there. I managed to get a full set of four AM offset three-bay hopper cars a few years back from NMRA Division 7 after they advertised in MR, they are in the NKP inspired scheme. I have since sold two on and bought an AM 'Appalachian Lines' covered hopper and managed to get my hands on a UB boxcar too but I would love to be able to have a few more bits to represent these truly inspirational pioneers!

I would offer up mine, but they are captive on my railroad so they would not be seen roaming the country. Although I am trying hard to justify a fleet of boxcars.I am thinking something like the exactrail Berwick 7327 car.

These are listed as HO but I thought Fox Valley only did N scale?
I just say $30 seems pricey, is that normal for FV products?
