Nice job, Erik. I've been kicking around that GP60 widecab idea too.

Now that is cool......I always liked that paint scheme. I just picked up some Microscale decals to do an Alco S2 in the blue and orange scheme!

I like where you're going with this! In reality tho, CN would've stole this cool unit for themselves and given GTW some POS GP40s....

Sean
I do agree with you on CN keeping them. The CN purchase of the ex ATSF GE's was kind of the inspiration for these units.

I freelance a New England road. Most power is big 4 axle, like B&M. I have a large GP60 fleet. This includes 3 of the M version. I modified it to look Canadian. I put the bell between the number boards, added class lights, and snow shields. These were intended to be Canadian leaders for CV/CN run through.

I like the idea of a Canadian style GP60M. Sounds like something that would look at hone on my modern D&H!

Looks really good! I tried building that cab and eventually gave up. I think the one I had was modelled incorrectly... thats my justification anyway. Question though, you did such great work on this GP60M, but you didnt add the recessed brake lever in the rear quarter. Are you adding a modification of some kind later on?

Erik, Another fine looking loco, will this ever run on the Warren Bay, or will it be an interchange on the Clinton Valley Railroad ;-)

Nice project. I have a P2K GP60 chassis, and a Rail Power GP60 frame and shell. It's going to be my next project. Trying to fix up a couple of Atlas/Roco yellow box GP40's right now. Waiting for some parts.
Mike.
