I'm not sure if this is the proper spot for leasing units, but I thought someone might find this one interesting. I took these photos of Progress Rail PR30C 3002 (rebuilt from SOO SD40-2 763) in Texas back in August 2009: drolsen.rrpicturearchives.net/locoPicture.aspx?id=115701Certainly an interesting combination of old and new components. It would definitely be a challenging kitbash, since they don't appear to have reused any recognizable components from other diesels, aside from the original SD40-2. Hope you all enjoy these! Dave

Despite not being much of a fan of the NS PR43C's, I actually like this loco, it's unique.

Sean - They did a fantastic job with that kitbash / scratchbuild. I'd love to see photos of the model in progress to see all the components underneath the paint that they assembled together. Thanks for posting the link!
