I cant seem to find the Atlas GP40 dynamic brake blister on the Atlas parts website. I saw another posting where someone else was having a hard time finding one. Is there another manuf. blister that would work here. They have the GP38 ones just no GP40s.

I talked to Steve at Atlas, and he stated they would not have them until they re-run the mold again.

Hmm, thanks for the info. Looks like I will have to figure out how to get the paint off the one I have. Since I didnt paint the unit myself Im not sure what was used. Its not factory painted. Any ideas?

I would suggest trying a soak in 91% alcohol. I recently stripped a model painted with Flo-Quil about 10 years ago, and it just about came right off after soaking for a few hours.
Easy-Off oven cleaner would be my second choise, as that stuff seems to remove just about any paint there is.
It's just a small part, so even if you need to use the Easy-Off, it not a big deal or mess to do.
