2 GP30 (PC & RDG) both to receive CR stencils 3 GP40-2 (one CR blue and 2 RDG units to receive CR stencils) [the 2 RDG units are preorderd, so I'm waiting] 1 SD35 (CNJ to receive CR stencils) 1 E8 (CR black, to be striped and become blue for my planned OCS) 1 RS11 (CR blue, but waiting to get Smokey valley handrails!) 2 E33 (one CR blue and one PC unit to get CR stencils)
and I better don't start with all the rolling stock, vehicles and building to be done ... it's enough to keep me busy till 2010!!!!!

What a devious way to get us to reveal our shortcomings, Randy!!
Normally I only hear that one from my wife, for example, "When are you going to finish that..............?(fill in the blank space), but it doesn't always apply to model building. I have a whole closet that is stuffed with "back burner" projects. However, it does make it interesting to pull out something I haven't touched in ten years and say "Gosh, I thought I lost this one".
Another category would be , what is your oldest back-burner project. Mine is a 15-ton scratchbuilt crane that I started (and re-started many times since) in 1971, which I think may be a record of some sort. I still intend to finish it, but whenever I hit a snag, I box her back up and work on something else. Oh well, variety is still the spice of life!!

Everything lol. I have finals this week so everything takes a back burner. After this week, all projects will be restarted though.

good idea for a topic. I'll add the things I can think of off the top of my head: 3 GE44 tonners that need details/decoders 2 GE 70tonners that need the same. 1 Railpower convert CF7 project that will probably never be done now that AThearn re-released them. (needed one as a grain terminal switcher) About 40 freightcars and 30 structures. I didn't have a layout for 5 years, and I'm just now getting around to building one, but I kept buying things in the interim!

Hello all. Unfortunately all my HO modeling is on the back burner until I sort out my shed, not to mention finishing the revitalisation of my current project car. Although this does give me an opportunity to acquire all the detail parts I may ever need for the HO locos et al. Perhaps one day I may even continue my N scale layout which was put on the back burner to build a HO! Matthew
