I've built a few of these cars (and have 2 on my desk now) Mine are 90%ers, and I used the Athearn 50' plug door car. The panel count on the sides is wrong, but the door (dbl rod vers.) and sill match the CP car. the tack boards are in a diff spot too, but the prototype has tack boards all over the place. www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=ATH70765I cut the dreadnaught ends off and added resin NSC ends I cast from the trains canada 40' boxcars. I plugged the roofwalk holes and left the diag panel roofs as is. the roof has too much side lip on it, but i reiterate, its a 90%er... BTW David, I bought some freight cars off you in the past (Sylvan CP tank hopper and 2 CN 40' grain boxes) and you got some mad skills!!

Yeah - I did one a while ago with the Athearn car - same problem though - the Athearn car is 10'6", not 11' - and it does look too low.
Glad you enjoyed the tank hopper - they are a pain in the butt, I still have a couple left and I started to work on one, it went back in the box. LOL.

I have an article by a Soo modeler of a kitbash of this car, lemme see if I can dig it up. IIRC he used a branchline car with PS ends...but I'm not 100% sure, those braincells have been recommited...
