That figures. If I had known that I would have grabed two of the MP Caboose kits. If you do manage to find one of any of the kits, you'll probably have to pay a nice penny for it. I guess I should have gotten them when I had the chance.

To bad another company doesn't purchase the molds and either sale them as kits or RTR. I hate to see a good company go away. Railyard Models will be missed.

I'm hoping I can catch at least two of the MP caboose kits on eBay and hopefully grab them without breaking the bank.

oh wow, this is disheartening. they were by far one of the best 'resin' car producers around. I hesitate to say resin, because the quality and workability approached plastic! I've built (but not painted yet) an X58, with another x58 and a PD3000 so I'm set for a bit. I did want to grab a Kelloggs car, oh well I'll have to follow Fred's lead and visit evil bay....

This is a real bummer! I was really looking forward to buying one of two of the MoPac caboose kits. I guess this is what I get for waiting.
I'm almost afraid to see what happens when the kits show up on evil bay...

Tis a shame! I've bought 7 or 8 of his kits. They are THE best resin kits I have built, and it's a shame that yet another small manufacturer calls it quits. The way things are going to RTR, we'll have to drop 'Model' and just call the hobby 'Railroading'.

Looking at those 'bay prices, I'll just have to be patient and wait for the buzz to die down. Maybe we'll have better luck at the estate sales, since I'm sure 90% of the kits won't get built.
