That is a really cool build. The body work is awesome. Any updates on the decals yet?

Very nice!
What are you using for the louvres on the doors?

The louvres are Archer resin decals. I'm not sure I would have tried this project if not for them.

I've gotten the side handrails bent, although the front ones still need a bit of tweaking. Spent plenty of time drilling out the Smokey Valley castings, since I have serious doubts about the ability of plastic first gen stanchions to survive anything. The end stanchions are the newer style and it looks like I'll have to move the mounting holes to make them match up.

I haven't forgotten this project, I've been working slowly on it. The underframe is pretty much done now, after it took me a while to work out exactly how to do all of the piping. I brought it with me to the RPM meet in San Bernardino over the weekend: I think I've figured out how to do all of the stumbling blocks I was having on finishing this model, so it should just be a matter of actually getting to it now.

What did you use for the radiator grills? It looks like SD9 style.

I cut off the front and rear grilles from the Atlas GP9 I was using as a donor, removed one of the sections from the rear grille and then glued them together.
