This has been a long term project, and is very nearly done. Still some small detail work to do, but my new airbrush has arrived, so painting isn't far off.
When choosing a paint scheme, I considered several options. The Southern Pacific oil painting, though detail wise not correct, looked awesome. A Santa Fe option has merit, as this was the railroad the C-636P was most likely targeted for. However, I'm an Eastern modeller, so a D&H warbonnet was a better proposition. However, trying to think logically for the 1967 time frame, I decided to go with the demo scheme, but with a cab version twist.
All going well, I'll have it finished early in the new year. Cheers Steve
