That's a real excellent loco, you did a darn nice job of it. I wish I had of seen this thead when it started (been off line) and I could have given you some ideas from my C630M's They are modified Tycos on Athearn U33C chassis (modified). The 630M's were built by MLW in Montreal Can. Anyway here is a pic of one of my fleet. Te MLW's had Dofasco trucks with a more even wheel spacing so other than fine details the U33C trucks are not too bad. If I had thought anyone whould have been interested in my amature craftsmanship I'd have posted some pictures before. Cheers Willis

Those Tyco super 630s still have merit! nice job!

Post away Willis, looks great to me! Thank's for the invite, I'll start a new one so as not to clutter this one up. It's been quite awhile since mine were built mid 90's and te photos were stored on disks. I just found them but it's a bit late to start on it tonight. Cheers Willis

Not bad for a Tyco high hood there rs2mike. Have you considered maybe making it a lease unit with some funky LTEX, GATX or HLCX lettering on the cab? That might let you get away with running it more on regular trains, or burying it trailing in a consist like many RR's do. One other minor suggestion is perhaps consider adding stanchions to the end handrails. They look a bit unsafe, the FRA might have something to say about them

Thanks everyone for the comments, I have wanted to respond to you but am unable to log onto this website with my ipad. Not sure why. Just have not had time to get onto the home computer to get back to everyone.
To Willis. Thanks for the comments. I like yours as well. Would like to see the build on that one as well.
Mrdan. You are right I am missing the end stantions. The loco was missing the end rails so I had to bend my own and did not have any statntions to put on the ens. I have since sold the loco on ebay.. I probably should have posted in the cheap builds as I think I may have only spent $30.00 in total on the engine. I sold it on evil bay for way more than that. I also ended up putting in a motor, l;ights. and decoder in it. all stuff I had laying around from other projects that donated parts to this one in one form or another.
Again sorry for the late reply I have to get to the bottom of why the Ipad refuses to log into this site.
Mike
