Some pictures of the rear ditch lights, I am still working on the front ditch lights and I will post some picture when I complete them.

Nice work so far! I've been seeing these frequently in Cresson.....I've thought about doing one myself. It's basically a rebuilt SD50 right? Or is Juniata also using SD60 cores? Keep us posted, Rick www.fourrocksmodelworks.com

Thanks for the comments. The SD40E's are rebuilt from sd50 cores, I think they were de-rated and it also look like additional components were added. Anyone please chime in as I am not 100% positive on the changes that have been done on the prototype.

Yes, they are Railflyer ditch lights. I like the prototypical size of the lights.

Great Model! Those traction cables are amazing.. Where did you get the LEDs for the rear ditchlights? I was looking on their website, and i didnt look like they came with the ditchlights.

The thread is 8 years old, but, if you scroll up, and read the list of parts he used, you'll see they are Railflyer ditch lights.
