I'd have to agree...awesome work! Nice to see someone else likes to model the Espee as much as I do!

That's great work. I'm not a SP guy so I don't know for sure, but I doubt you left off one detail. I look forward to its completion.

Another beauty, your attention to detail is great! What cab interior do you use, it looks awesome. It is a Precision Scale detail, includes control stand, engineer and conductor seats, etc.

Agreed, fabulous work!
What do you use for the underframe plumbing and such and who makes the armrest? Thanks, Roger

NICE, snoot nose and all. I think this is the first time I've seen the cannon fuel tank accessory kit in use.
Also, I have 2 of these slated for NREX, could you tell us where you got the louvers on the bottem end of the long hood?

Agreed, fabulous work! What do you use for the underframe plumbing and such and who makes the armrest? Thanks, Roger Thank you! For underframe plumbing such as airlines and drains I use brass rods, the little elbows you see at the end of motor drains are from Canon&Co underframe/tank details, for the cable motors DWs have the right details and the armrest comes with the Precision Scale Company cab details, but also Utah Pacific have those. I though those louvers were never going to be noticed. I got them from spare parts that were not used belonging to a Canon&Co swither cab. They were "sliced" using a very sharp blade and a lot of patience. Sometimes I get the extra louvers oppenings from unused shells.

Superb! I too was wondering where the radiator grilles had come from. This is the sort of thing that I find encourages me to continue with my efforts. Matthew

Almost a shame to have to cover that with paint. Beautiful job! Thank you, will try to do a superb paint job, I know that almost all SP diesels are very dirty, but from the prototype photos I am using the diesel looks very clean, perhaps those photos had been taken right after it got new paint. This will be a Cotton Belt, # 8376, it is the only one I have seen with the SP letters in front and the Cotton Belt lettering in the hood.

Kiro, if you want to take on an extra challenge, you could cut a strip between the radiator grills on top to separate them, like you see on the RTR models. To take that further would then require a thin batten strip with bolt heads to go between the separated grills. I've been thinking about doing that process to upgrade (hopefully not ruin) my older BB models, but that's a lot riskier than simply replacing the fans and exhaust stacks with new Cannon parts. Your series of pictures show what can be done with the BB models. Great work! Thanks for posting.
