That is truelly amazing. The paint I think makes it that much more realistic. You can almost hear it idling away at the fuel rack. I think Bowser is supposed to come out with the canadian alcos later this year. Hopefully they'll contact you for some suggestions

ALCOs are special to me and the one Cartier M636 I saw in person as a child was awesome. Fantastic work! The radiator vents appear to reveal the interior. If they are screen or plate and if you made them, what materials did you use? I bought a few FARR style vents for my U25Cs from PLANO. Always looking for a way to save money and gain realism. Any ideas?

The mesh in the long hood was left over from a Tamiya Subarau WRC rally car kit I built for a friend. CN's M636's had mesh instead of louvres. I also built the machanical fan drive and expansion tank that are visible through the mesh.

very nice!!! what did you use for handrail stanchions? i have a couple of the bowser cn c630m's that i am working on and the handrails are made out of the brittlest plastic that you can break them by blowing in them. a lot of the new locomotives these days are like this.

thanks for your help, ordered the atlas c424 handrails and there is one problem. the handrail stanchions on the ends mount on top of the anticlimber. the bowser and the prototype have the y shaped stanchions that mount on the front of the anticlimber. what can i do to replicate these? the bowser ones are so brittle. does smokey valley or anyone else make these stanchions? hope you can help.
