Was just wondering if there's anybody here that is attempted to do one of the Alaskan Railroad gp49 locomotive? More accurately reconstructing the Railroad shop Cloud configuration? I'm in the process a building a couple of their locomotive two different kid Bashas 1 is being done from gp50 Phase 2 blue box the other one is a Genesis g p 39x so far the X has been the easiest but I still need to figure out a way to recreate the plow accurately any suggestions or someone maybe who's already experienced this would sure be grateful for the heads up.

Thanks for providing the link it looks like you did a pretty good job but I was trying to do a more accurate rendition of the plow anyway it's kind of helpful. Didn't look like any of the body had been changed and since the gp49 uses a 12-cylinder there's a difference in the doors at any rate on grateful for the help see if I can use some of this information to upgrade my models will certainly let you know how Wizards on and try posting them here thanks again

FYI, There was a modeling article on ARR's GP49s in the January 1992 issue of "Model Railroading" magazine.
