Long shot but I'm going to ask .... I need to bottom side motor mount for an Athearn Roco version motor, used in the F-units. I have a yellow box F-unit I bought 'imperfect' some time ago, finally got around to it and have learned what that imperfection is. The motor has broken loose from all four of the frame pegs that hold the retaining screws. I'm hoping someone may have done a motor upgrade or replacement and might have the part to spare. I'll be trying to contact Athearn as well, am simply starting here. The motor is working fine so I'd rather not get a complete motor just to get the mount. This is molded in white plastic, but am not certain that was done only on the Roco version motors used in the F's.

If no parts are available, I would think a bed of silicone sealant may be your only option.

I'm not going to hold my breath on this, but Athearn has a 'box' of dead motors, they're gonna see if they have a match for the mount. I don't know how many motors they've used over time, but only two I know of so I think the odds are in my favor.

Just a quick suggestion I have had really good luck using Permatex RTG gaskets sealer it comes in a tube and once it hardens it's pretty pretty solid not that difficult to remove in the case of a remoter replacement or such and it apparently does pretty good too quiet most of the vibrations generally go through the motor good chassis. it's not that expensive and one tube seems to last a lifetime
