Here hoping everybody is doing good in these trying times. I am a modeler, and photographer that love trains. Formerly lived in NW Vermont where the hometown RR was CV, with CN. Across the lake was the DH, a hour north was Montreal. So usually a day of rail fanning would take a round about route to the NE, St. Johnsbury, Newport VT then cross the border and follow the CP, CN lines to Montreal. Hitting Dorval, Coteau Station, before turning south for Messina, or Valleyfield, St. Jean or Rouses Point. These jaunts started when I was in High School in the early 70's. A six years hiatus while I served in the US Navy put a hole in my photos history, but not my desired. With better cameras I was eager to doucument the changing rail scene in the late 70's, and with today digital camera still find me trackside ... even in the 100 degress + days of AZ summers. Now retired,,, Looking forward toward moving to North Caroline Mtns.

Welcome. You come from a nice area and some cool railroading. I visited your part of the world in 1985 and had a cab ride on an M-420 from Italy Yard to East Alburg. I liked the CV back in the day. Cheers Steve NZ
