wow Looking Awesome, the cab turned out spectacularly too! Is the frame aftermarket or one of the kits? the way the steps are grafted on is some precision!

I forgot to mention that I went with a Bowser cab. The shapeways cab was awful, after I sprayed it with primer it exposed all the imperfections in the print quality. 3D printing is just not there yet.

Thanks guys. looks like the boarder is not opening any time soon, so I ordered the SD40-2 under body detail kit from Scaletrains and I will continue the build once it arrives.

I borrowed a cab from one of my Bowser SD40-2's to copy and mold out of resin. Its the only way these days, can't get them anywhere else.
