Interesting, I didn't knew them. I wish they made GP20eco (CP 2200 series) shells too.
Steel Horse Models is expected to release some, DCC/sound rivet counter and ready to roll, but I hope they won't fail. We all know how hard it can be to start-up manufacturing HO models for such a specific market as our hobby. Rapido also had a tough start, but fortunately came to a happy end, not without hiccups at times, though.
I'm also preoccupied by Scale Sound speakers. I had three sugar cubes form this guy, and I wish I have ordered a dozen back then, as his products had been backorder for 8 months now. These are the very best sound speakers for HO models that I've heard. I first heard those from one guy who converted Athearn Gen CN GP38/40s to Loksound and these speakers and I just could not believe how realistic they sounded like. That's only then that I realized how worthless it is to install high end and expensive decoders (TCS in my case) with cheap speakers if you cannot render their potential. Two weeks after, I had three sugar cubes in my mailbox, but then two months after (July2019) all of them were gone.
That being said, we're holding our breaths for the completion of another jewel of yours

I didn’t know about Steel horse models, I hope they will release there planed locomotives that would reduce the amount of projects I have on the bench lol. regarding the speakers if you can’t get the sugarcubes, IPhone 4 and iPhone 6S speakers are really good with good base. The SD10 I’m working on right now has the iPhone 6S speaker. im just about finished the SD10 I should be able to post some pictures by the end of this week, I’ll try to upload a video of it as well.
Yeah it's something like that. As far as I know, CP has most of their ditch lights wired up as "on/off" without any kind of alternating features. It shouldn't be too much work to adjust the CV value though.

Good to know, I have a Lokprogrammer so it will be a breeze.
How was it working with the Lines West kits? I have 2 I need too build.
In my experience it wasn't the greatest. It seem to be a low quality print, I had to wet sand all the print lines of off the cab and the windows are just awful sanding and polishing did not make them clear. I reused the original glass from the model. but it was still easier to work with it than to build a new cab.
You did a great job of making a locomotive that's somewhat ho-hum in my view (SD9) into something that really looks snappy!
Interesting about the Lines West parts. He has been running his own printing, and I expect he's learned a lot since he started printing.
It’s not a bad product but it needs a bit of work hopefully he can improve the print quality. One thing I forgot to mention, the decals that came with the cab are not usable everything from behind bleaches right trough. The decals used on the model are from Microscale.
I need your motivation Sir. Just amazing craftsmanship. I just need to stay on one and keep it going instead of hiding it and starting on another!I'm always waiting on one thing or another.

Thanks. I had the same problem, projects would just pile up on my work bench. I decided to take a break instead of starting another project and come back to it in a week or so to finish it. Even if it takes another month its worth it.
