Building a 3 gmtx gp38-2 the old heart of Texas railroad. Started replacing the fans with cannon and company fans and now working on the cab and sub bases

Learning how to upload pics That's what kinda sucks. You have to use a third party site (like Imgur, Photo bucket or Flickr) to upload pics. I personally use Imgur.

No it didn't. There's more. Once you have copied the link from Imgur come back here and hit reply. Inserting an image doesn't work with quick reply. Now in reply, find this icon Click on the photo icon and it will look like this Delete the highlighted "http". Paste your Imgur url in that slot and press insert image. This is what meant about being complicated (sucks). But once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. I like the forum set up because it makes it easier to find information. Hope this helps!

Mike i'm on imgur all I do to post is bring the photo up.
On the side that has the list of copy.
I click on the 2nd or 3rd from the bottom then copy then come back here and paste really simple.
How I got my CP car in the freight car section here.

1. Clicked "quote" 2. Clicked "insert image" icon 3. Pasted link from Imgur (from "copy image location")

The steps I just outlined work with most photos as long as you're using the correct image file.
Here's what I copied and pasted after searching (generically) for an SD40-2. The "Insert Image" icon is to the right of the little envelope/arrow symbol on this screen...between the envelope and cut board (insert video) icon.
