For photobucket, copy and paste the direct link instead of the img link. Don't know why this is, but it's the only way I could ever get pictures to load here.

I can't even get it to highlight the link it just won't give me the option to copy it . Do I have to upgrade to paid member of photobucket in order to link?

Hmmm....no you shouldn't need to have a paid membership.
If you are looking at the photo, to the right there should be four options. Direct, img, email, and html. You don't have to highlight the link or right click/copy to copy it. Just click on the box for the version you want. It should turn yellow indicating that it's been copied.
Back here in your post, select the insert image button from the toolbar up top, then paste into the provided field. That should do it.
I've only ever gotten the direct link to work here.
Let me try it in a few minutes just to make sure I described it correctly.

Here's a test. It works exactly as I stated above. In Photobucket, left click the direct link. The insert image button is third in the righthand most group of buttons at the top of the posting window. In the insert image dialog box, paste over the "http" that is there by default. The link you copy from photobucket already includes the "http" portion, so you don't want to double that. Good luck, Jim
