Great! I agree the faded sections look great, how did you do it?
The load looks good too, are they all individual ties or just the top row? All individual ties must have taken a while to install.

I remember years ago the first time I had seen some of these gondolas... in High Point, N.C., adjacent to the old High Point Thomasville & Denton shop building... now long gone. The cars were very new at the time and the paint was pristine... I really liked the idea that NS came up with another use for their old pulpwood cars. Oddly enough the top portion that was removed was used to create fencing up in Roanoke, Va., at Cycle Systems... definitely a great reuse of old parts.

Thanks! The ties load is just the top row glued on foam so it is removable. I faded the cars using white chalk and orange chalk mixed together to get a really light orange. Dulcoat on top of it to seal it.
