Hi guys, I picked up this caboose cheap off Ebay. When the model arrived in the mail the Ends had been destroyed so I built new and cages with the channel reinforcement bars and all the grab irons are wire and I made my own brake wheel with chains and such. Model is painted with scalecoat PC green from the historical society and the decals are from Microscale - Penn Central Caboose set. It has window etchings from Wright track (but they were originally made by a guy in Tennessee Burrl Rice. I used a set of Run-8 for the window acrylic glass. This caboose will only get a tiny bit of weathering, as I want to have a shiny repaint model to go with my others which are pretty grimy. Brian

Looks really great! I have one that needs the ends rebuilt like that due to damage, and I have been wanting to see how those window etchings look when installed. Thanks for sharing!

I don't know the Penn Central very well but I do like cabooses. I think this one looks good and will be the star of the caboose track.
