Looking good! Those radiators look great, looks similar to what I did on my TR4 build.
For the rivet details that you carved off the Athearn BB, would Archer rivet details be a better option, or is the shape not correct?

Archer would've been far better but they are expensive whereas the BB rivets were free. I did order a set of louvers from Archer for this build and they look great.

Hey Nick, Did you have to file down the bottom/top or sides of the air piping brackets to get them to fit properly under the sill? Did you do any filing work on the traction motor cables? They look really clean compared to the ones I have lol!

Coming along nicely. Did you mill down the frame at all? Also, not sure if you're aware, but AMB just released laser-cut windows for the Atlas C40-8W cab. I bought a few sets and was quite pleased. They look great: www.laserkit.com/windowho2.htm#Atlas- Chris www.milepost15.com

Thought about ordering one but didn't pull the trigger...might still though.?

Thought about ordering one but didn't pull the trigger...might still though.? Good to know. I've been considering whether or not to mill the frames on mine. I wasn't sure that there would be adequate space to cram all the detail I want to add onto the frame without milling it back some and rebuilding the I-Beam with styrene, but you seem to have managed nicely :-) The laser-cut windows look good as far as I can tell. Far better than the Atlas glazing insert. I received the sets I ordered a few days ago, though I haven't been able to install them in a cab yet. AMB did these along with the spartan C40-8 and the B23-7/B30-7 sets at the request of a fellow modeler despite having some reservations about how well they would sell. We're hoping they'll at least make their development costs back so that they'll be open to more projects like this in the future. Anyway, I've enjoyed watching your progress. Looking forward to seeing the finished model! - Chris www.milepost15.com
