Of all the times I have been to this site I don't know how I've missed this page, LOL. Pretty much my next favorite railroad subject after diesels is cabooses, and here are a couple I have completed. First up is a Wrighttrak Models M5 done up in Family Lines grey. I also have one that is about 85% done in Seaboard Coast Line orange, and one in the closet awaiting construction eventually that will be Atlantic Coast Line orange. I was very sad when I read Gary will be retiring these kits... Next we have a Wrighttrak/Penn Central Historical Society N6A transfer cab. I thought I was going to end up in a straitjacket before I finished the handrails on this one, LOL. This kit is almost worth getting just to be able to use the cool photetched screen door, LOL. I currently have two other cabs on the bench right at the moment, both made by Wrighttrak: a Southern Bay window cab and an NW C-18. I will post pics of these once they are completed. Chuck Yeargin

Thanks Chuck. Yeah, I must admit to be a PC fan in addition to Southern & NS...guess it's the whole underdog thing, plus I like that shade of green on their freight equipment.

If you still want one of the N6A kits, you can still get them directly from Wrighttrak: www.wrighttrak.com/id93.htmlI still have to retry the N7 in PC green; I had gotten the early run that Gary first came out with before he offered the photoetched end railings, and I didn't have very good luck with the resin ones. If you decide to order one you'll like dealing with Gary; he's good people. Chuck Yeargin

That is Really Superb Work, Chuck !! I am also a caboose addict and will try to build any variety from any road that tickles my fancy (and with cabs, my fancy is very easy to tickle ;D). You have inspired me to dig through my boxes and find something I can share in return.

Yeah, Yeah, Chuck, rub it in....You KNOW I gotta have one of those! Unfortunately, an L&N "Little Woodie" is staring back at me, right now as we speak, saying "pul-eeeze finish me before you buy another crummy." Well, I can't help myself, they're like potato chips, you just can't stop with one!
