Edwin,
I know you will like the Archer tread plate, I have used it on a couple of models. I use 91% alcohol for all my paint stripping. I suggest a 18 to 20 inch piece of 3" PVC with a rubber cap on one end to hold the alcohol. I use a plastic bag and rubber band on the other end. I have used this setup for 8 years now and strain the alcohol after two uses to remove excess paint blobs.

I just received my order of detail parts today. Lots of neat new stuff I've never used or seen before. I have the Archer decals too. The Aber photoetch is in route to the store and then will be on the way to me.
I've got to finish scrubbing the shells and get to work.

Hi Edwin. Are there any updates to your Clinchfield U36C project?

I bought a bunch of detail parts to build two of them. Disassembled and stripped the shells and now everything is just sitting in a tote waiting for motivation.
