www.flickr.com/photos/53243414@N00/14486630409/sizes/o/in/photostream/I've added the scratched brake stand, brake platform and retaining valve. I made the channel for the stand, because there's no fine available. The platform is double thick. I soldered two pieces of Plano together using silver bearing solder. With the plumbed retaining valve, all the plumbing is done. The link will take you to the largest size photo, so no more clicking required. Thanks, Bobby

I just added three photos showing the progress on the build. I received the Plano # 10930 upgrade kit, and went to work. I used the walk and end grabs from the kit. All of the parts in the kit look great. I built part of the air lines for the PD system, added end steps, jack pad braces, cut lever brackets, and card holders. I build my own ladders. Thanks for looking, Bobby www.flickr.com/photos/53243414@N00/?details=1

Looks beauty! Are those 38" wheels? The only reason I ask is that this particular build lot (941-H) had the 36" wheels whereas the other 2 with the horiz ribs had 38".
Can't wait to see paint on it! Are you doing CR, PC or NYC livery?

Sean, you are dead on! I thought it had 38s!? I still haven't made up my mind on the road name.
Thanks, Bobby

Great job! This has always looked like a lot of work, but well worth it. The Plano kit might just be enough for me to try it...

Pretty addictive little prototype, isn't it?!?!? Your's is by far the furthest I've ever seen anyone go with the AHM! Bravo! Thankfully, its brethren the PD3000 is already beautifully done in HO...by Railyard models in kit or Spring Mills RTR www.springmillsdepot.com/pd3000main.htm

Bobby,
I suggest you do not bring this car with you to Savannah next year. Just saying!
I am at a loss for words, Except of course the words I just typed.
