This is for our favorite Old Uncle Buck, and all you Nickel Plate fans. My son caught this train heading east last evening (5/13). Steve

Thanks Steve. I'm friends with Doyle, he's a former Conneaut resident.

She's making her way east to Spencer, N.C. for the Streamliner event. Was really surprised when I heard about it, especially since I had not seen any recent photos showing how far Doyle had progressed with the unit but real soon I hope to be seeing, and touching, the first ALCO PA unit that I have seen in more than 4 decades. There has also been chatter that some other units are already being marshaled together from the Northeast so they can all come down together with the newest addition to the line-up being an EMD F3B coming in Lackawanna paint to match Steamtown's two A-units. And the PA won't be the only ALCO since the Monticello Railway Museum's MILW FPA4 in CN green paint is also scheduled to attend.
